Dr Jane Butterworth has been practising dentistry for over 34 years, after gaining her qualifications in 1984. Since then Jane has trained and worked throughout the Midlands, Northwest and Europe, providing highly aesthetic dentistry for her many delighted clients. She has had articles published both in scientific journals and renowned life style publications. Her main area of expertise is restorative dentistry, which may involve crowns, veneers, implants, bespoke dentures and orthodontics to create beautiful smiles.

Jane has been placing and restoring implants since 1990 and has over 25 years’ experience. Her implant treatments range from single tooth replacement to full mouth rehabilitation including the much publicised “All on 4” and same day teeth. She also offers the implant system for patients requiring denture stabilisation using a less invasive procedure.

Much of her implant planning is done using 3D scanning of the jaws to ensure accuracy in the procedure of placement.

Jane has a keen interest in orthodontics and has been treating orthodontic cases since 1992. She is able to provide both removable, fixed braces and Invisalign aligners. She has been Invisalign certified since 2004 and has treated over five hundred patients with the Invisalign brace system. She has held Platinum status accreditation with Invisalign for over 15 years.

She has studied occlusion in detail with The Pankey Institute (USA) and has experience in temporomandibular joint related problems e.g. joint pain, headaches, imbalanced wear of the dentition etc. She provides various types of splint therapy including the most recently developed Cerezen.

Jane takes the time to get to know each and every one of her clients, whether your dental problem relates to decay, missing teeth, a crooked smile or gum problems. Jane has extensive experience and knowledge in many specialised areas of dentistry.
